Meet Your Therapist
Ally Waring
Talking about sex and relationships is tough. Whether you're working through low libido, sexual pain (like vaginismus), erectile dysfunction, recovering from infidelity, or exploring new relationship styles, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help.
I work in an integrative, sex-positive, and creative way. That means we’ll draw on different approaches, combining traditional talk therapy with playful and practical body-based tools, to find what actually works for you.
While mainstream healthcare can sometimes feel quick to label or pathologise sexual and relational difficulties, I view them through a wider lens. I offer a warm and accepting space where all identities, desires, and relationship configurations are honoured and welcomed. Ultimately, you are the expert on your own life, desire, and identity.
Opening up about your most intimate self only happens when you feel truly safe and held. Whether we're working individually or with your partner(s), my priority is laying the foundation for a deeply trusting space where you can explore, unlearn, and redefine what intimacy means to you.
With a background as a relationship strategy consultant, I find that this deepens my understanding of modern relational dynamics, communication, and human connection, enriching the practical perspective I bring to therapy.
I work online and in-person in Kings Cross, London and offer therapy for individuals and relationships. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed expertise from specialist charities, NHS clinical experience, and senior supervision with over 30 years of expertise.
I am currently completing my Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy and will be opening Parlour Therapy in Spring 2027.
